Pegasus Airlines presented scheduled air service Istanbul-Sarajevo

    Today in Sarajevo the Pegasus Airlines' Management held a press conference to present a scheduled air service Istanbul-Sarajevo which was established on February 28, 2013.
    Mr. Ali Sabanci, president of Pegasus Airlines and Ms. Guliz Ozturk, vice-president of the airline, emphasized that Pegasus has further confirmed their presence in the Balkans by adding Sarajevo as a new destination in the region:
    “For the time being Pegasus Airlines flies to 68 destinations in 27 countries, and our air servic to Sarajevo is the fifth destination in the Balkans. We have made air traffic more affordable in the region by expanding our network of air traffic operations to the Balkans, in addition to those we have to Europe, Caucasus and Middle East.”
    Mr. Sabanci also pointed out to potential of this region, highlighting the following:
    “We believe in the potentil that the Balkans offer, as well as in opportunities for us here, in Caucasus and Middle East that make our priorities. Having in mind the increased number of tourists who visit Sarajevo and the rest of the country, we are convinced that we will present the ‘Pegasus way of flying’ to substantial number of passengers. We offer affordable prices, regular flights and new aircraft.”
    BiH market is of a special importance to Pegasus Airlines because of cultural and historical interconnectedness between Turkey and BiH.
    Pegasus Airlines plans to introduce daily opeerations between Sarajevo and Istanbul in the future. Presently, they have flights on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
